Every so often I get the privilege of photographing the union of two of my lifelong friends. Nece and Darrick put together a gorgeous, vintage wedding day at the Kilworth Memorial Chapel at the University of Puget Sound. Hopefully through these glimpses into their day you're able to experience the love and laughter that all of their guests did.
Weddings like this one are the reason I started offering special rates for small, intimate weddings. Monique and David were married on American Lake at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The atmosphere was fun and light, and there was a perfect breeze floating over the lake.
I rarely get the opportunity to photograph courthouse weddings, and was so excited when Sarah and Natasha contacted me about documenting theirs. It's always a special thing when I don't have to provide much direction for a couple. I can sit back and photograph them as they are together and the resulting imagery is pure love.
Jessica and Kiel got married at a lovely Spokane venue overlooking the valley. It was out-done only by Jessica and Kiel's care and concern for everyone else on their wedding day. They're two of the sweetest people you'll ever meet and it absolutely shined on their wedding day.
On one of the highest floors of the Columbia Tower in Seattle, Michael and Christopher's wedding was warm and intimate. We were able to take advantage of the inspiring architecture and stunning views of the city for some truly memorable images.
Michael and Melisa said "I do" in a lofty, rustic barn at the Puyallup Fairgrounds in November. With an heirloom flag draped behind them, they shared tearful vows before sealing their ceremony with a kiss. The atmosphere was truly one of joy and abandon.
