Ryan & Kendra

Kendra and Ryan tied the knot on a beautiful, cloudy Washington day in June. The day started on the top floor of a hotel the a view of Safeco Field. Both being avid Mariners fans, they had their first look with the stadium as their backdrop. Their bridal party was one of the most lively and inviting I've had the pleasure of spending time with, and there were plenty of jokes and ridiculous moments to inspire smiles. "Put your hands in your pockets," was interpreted as, "put your hands in your friends' pockets."

A friend of the family opened up their hillside waterfront property near Seattle, and they planned an intimate ceremony right on the beach overlooking the Sound where we could watch the ferries go back and forth. Mother Nature had other plans for their ceremony, however, as it started to sprinkle just minutes beforehand. Kendra and Ryan took it in stride and with a glass of wine, deciding to move their ceremony to the lawn under the cover of a large cedar tree. Their guests were none the wiser because the green garden made for a beautiful backdrop for their vows. Shortly after the sky cleared up again and we were able to make our way down to the water for their final images.
